Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint working in Chicago the theatre before moving to film and TV roles. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She also guest-starred on the show. was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also part of her work. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few years that were the life of Walter White.
