Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka is an American-British sitarist and musician. She received the British House of Commons' Shield in the year of her youngest and also the first female recipient. Alongside the nine Grammy awards and nine Grammy nominations, she also became the first Indian-born musician to perform in the live ceremony. Anoushka Shakar, a young emerging star on the Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is the student and sister of Ravi Shankar. She was born in 1982 in London. Her childhood years were spent in London as well as New Delhi. When she was only 13, her first show in New Delhi took place.
